They brought in more injured this morning. One of them was tortured with the Cruciatus Curse, and even though the spell had long since ended, he's still writhing in pain, pulling at his bedsheets, trying to bite anyone who comes near him... The screams are the worst, sometimes I think I can still hear him, up in my room with the door locked and a Silencing charm in place.

I gave him what sleeping potion I safely could, and Madame Pomfrey wants to bring him to St. Mungo's. Hogwarts isn't a proper medical facility, and we all know it. We're not equipped to handle the sort of long-term care that he's going to need if he has any hope of getting better. If there is anything that can help him.

But the worst thing is - he's Muggleborn. And the only reason any of us have been able to come up with for why he was treated this way was because of his heritage. And ever since then my mind's been just such a mess...

I don't even want to think about what might happen if they find Justin.
